But that's not all what the rising young star has been up to. Alexandra Shipp, best known for her lead roles in works such as Drumline: A New Beat, House of Anubis, Aaliyah: The Princess of R&B and Your Family or Mine, currently has been casted in a brand new movie X-Men: Apocalypse! Bryan Singer, the director of the previous X-Men movies, on the 23st of January 2015, has announced the news of Alexandra Shipp playing the role of Ororo Munroe (Storm), Sophie Turner from Game of Thrones playing the role of Jean Grey, as well as Tye Sharidan portraying the role of Scott Summers (Cyclops). Here's what the director tweeted.:
"Meet our new and brilliant young mutants: @Alexshipppp as #Storm @SophieT as #JeanGrey and @TyeSheridan as #Cyclops. #XmenApocalypse"
The news have been spread all around the online world right after the announcement, with negative and positive responses blowing Alexandra's twitter feed, along with the star herself posting a video where you can see her reading X-Men comic books. Check it out below:
